By accessing or using LISH (the “Service”), operated by Melissa Goodwin LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
LISH is an AI-powered style intelligence platform. The Service includes a style type quiz, a personalized style guide, and an AI style advisor that provides suggestions about clothing, style, and personal expression.
LISH is powered by artificial intelligence. When you use the chat feature, you are interacting with an AI system, not a human stylist. While we strive to provide helpful and relevant style guidance, AI-generated suggestions may not always be perfectly suited to your situation.
To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
LISH offers a free tier that includes the style quiz, your style guide, and a limited number of AI chat messages. Paid subscriptions provide unlimited access to the AI style advisor and are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at hello@melissagoodwin.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request.
You may submit text messages and photos through the Service. You retain ownership of all content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI systems solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to access other users’ accounts, reverse-engineering the AI system, using the Service for any unlawful purpose, or submitting content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users, the Service, or Melissa Goodwin LLC. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
The Service and all of its content — including the LISH style type system, quiz, style guides, AI-generated responses, brand, and design — are owned by Melissa Goodwin LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated style advice will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs. LISH is for personal style inspiration and entertainment purposes. We are not responsible for any purchasing decisions you make based on AI suggestions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melissa Goodwin LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
