1. Who We Are

LISH is operated by Melissa Goodwin LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our style intelligence platform at app.getlish.com (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.

Quiz Responses

We store your answers to the LISH style quiz to determine your style type and personalize your experience.

Chat Messages

We store the text messages you exchange with the AI style advisor to maintain your conversation history and improve your experience over time.

Photos

When you upload outfit photos, they are sent to our AI provider for analysis and are not permanently stored on our servers. Photos are processed in real time and not retained after the AI response is generated.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or banking details. We only receive a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the Service based on your style type
• Process your messages through our AI system to generate style advice
• Maintain your conversation history so you can revisit past advice
• Manage your account and subscription
• Communicate with you about your account if necessary

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LISH:

• Supabase — Database and authentication. Your account data and chat history are stored securely on Supabase’s infrastructure.
• Anthropic — AI processing. Your chat messages (and photos, when uploaded) are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate style advice. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all billing securely under their own privacy policy.
• Vercel — Hosting. The Service is hosted on Vercel’s platform.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service. These include session cookies required for authentication (so you stay logged in) and basic analytics provided by Vercel to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as page visits and load times. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect your ability to log in and use the Service.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and row-level security policies on our database to ensure you can only access your own data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and chat history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. You may request account deletion by contacting us at hello@melissagoodwin.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data

9. Children’s Privacy

LISH is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
